Job summary
Abbotswood at Irving Park, part of Kisco Senior Living, seeks a Culinary Services Director to lead dining operations for residents. You will hire, develop, and inspire a high-performing team delivering quality dining with safety and sanitation excellence.
Role requires a Culinary Degree, 5+ years in related roles, and ServSafe certification. Hotel or country club experience and senior living familiarity are a plus. Competitive compensation and growth opportunities are offered.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ related experience required
- Experience working in Senior Living is a plus
- Hotel or Country Club experience a plus
- Food and Beverage Manager experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Create an enriching and memorable dining experience for residents
- Creatively design menu items
- Manage inventory control, functionality and dining/kitchen cleanliness
- Interview, hire, train, manage and retain associates
- Forecast and schedule staffing to ensure resident satisfaction and efficiency
- Aim for balanced results in associate engagement, resident loyalty, and financial performance
