Job summary

Colonial Village is a premier senior living community offering independent living, assisted living, short-term rehab, and long-term care. We seek a devoted Dietary Aide/Server to deliver nutritious meals, uphold dietary restrictions, and contribute to a warm dining atmosphere for residents and guests.

You will follow diet orders, assist with meal service, and maintain hygiene and safety standards in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• The Dietary Aide / Server preferred high school graduate or have an equivalent education (GED) but not required.
• Serv Safe certification is encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and create a restaurant-style dining experience through customer service.
• Follow diet orders/tray cards and work assignments.
• Ensure meal orders are delivered accurately and note special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Assist with cleaning routines after meals and setting up for the next meal.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation procedures and a clean, safe environment.
• Attend department meetings and educational programs.
• Follow safety codes and infection control procedures.
• Know and follow community fire and disaster plans and CMS/CDC guidelines.
