Job summary

Colonial Village in Overland Park, KS is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide / Server to join our team. You will help provide nutritious meals and create a welcoming dining experience for residents and guests, following diet orders and safety standards.

The role focuses on meal service, sanitation, and collaboration with the culinary team. High school diploma or GED is preferred; Serv Safe certification is encouraged. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Help create a restaurant-style dining experience through serving meals, customer service, and collaboration.
• Follow written and oral instructions, follow diet orders/tray cards and work assignments.
• Ensuring that meal orders are delivered accurately, and any special request or dietary restrictions are noted and followed.
• Perform defined work routines.
• Assist with cleaning routines after meals and setting up for next meal.
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures and maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies as directed by Culinary Director
• Attend scheduled department meetings.
• Attend educational programs.
• Follow defined safety codes while performing duties.
• Follow Infection Control procedures.
• Understand community's fire and disaster plans; follow established procedures during drills and actual emergencies.
• Be knowledgeable of federal, state, and community's rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Role:
