Otterbein SeniorLife in Michigan is seeking a friendly Culinary Aide / Wait Staff to support residents, guests, and staff with quality meals in a not-for-profit, person-centered care setting. You’ll assist in food prep and serving under sanitary conditions, collaborate with nursing and dietary teams, and help maintain a clean, safe dining environment.

High school diploma or GED preferred; 0–2 years in food service welcome.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–2 years in food service within a Long Term Care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service to residents, partners, and guests at all times.
• Assist in preparation and setup of menu items according to standards.
• Serve meals and basic food items courteously and promptly.
• Restock cafeteria areas and maintain clean service spaces.
• Collaborate with dietary and nursing staff to meet resident needs.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen and dining areas following safety protocols.
