Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a friendly Culinary Aide/Wait Staff to join our not-for-profit retirement community. You will assist in preparing and serving high-quality meals to residents, guests, and staff, while maintaining sanitary conditions.

This part-time role requires excellent customer service, reliable attendance, and the ability to collaborate with the nursing and dietary teams to provide a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service preferred in a long-term care setting.
• Customer-focused with ability to interact positively with residents, staff, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality food preparation and serving under sanitary conditions.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining areas.
• Serve meals to residents and assist in setup and tray line operations.
• Assist in nursing neighborhoods where needed and communicate with dietary staff.
• Ensure safe handling of chemicals and proper hygiene practices.
• Support residents with a friendly, respectful dining experience.
