Job summary

Clarendale Six Corners in Chicago, IL, is seeking a skilled culinary team member to join our dining program. If you take pride in preparing all dishes from scratch and thrive in a high-volume, output-driven setting, this is the position for you. Part-time opportunities exist with schedules from 11:30am-8:00pm and 7:00am-3:30pm.

Starting wage is $22/hour with a benefits package including 401k, health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, PTO and Daily Pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization at all times.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Produce and serve menu cycle programs that meet nutritional/dietary criteria as required by local regulations.
• Demonstrate cooking speed, accuracy and efficiency.
• Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production.
• Assist with serving of meals and ware washing as necessary.
• Visit residents to evaluate food service and make revisions to improve operations.
• Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner.
• Support actions that drive occupancy and revenue.
