Job summary

Stellar Senior Living in Broomfield is seeking a dedicated Cook to join a large senior living community. You will prepare high-quality meals in a fast-paced setting, following health regulations and company standards, with attention to accuracy and presentation.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of kitchen experience, knowledge of special diets, and the ability to work as part of a team with flexible shifts. Free meals are provided on each shift and opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar position.
• Experience and/or knowledge of special diets, meal preparation for large groups preferred
• Safe food handling techniques are required
• Ability to read and understand recipes
• Work in a team environment
• Work flexible shifts
• Handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets with the ability to perform these error-free and meet the company quality standards
• Prepares and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner
