Job summary

Inspired Living at Ocoee is seeking a part-time Cook to support the Restaurant and Hospitality Department in our Ocoee, FL community. You will help ensure the quality of meals, adherence to dietary standards, and a high standard of service during dining hours.

The role reports to the Director, Restaurant and Hospitality and focuses on meal quality, safety, and resident satisfaction while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and supporting new hires and staff training as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in food service required.
• Minimum of three years' experience in food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Director, Restaurant and Hospitality with planning, directing, controlling, communicating, and coaching in the Food Service Department.
• Follows the Menu Program that meets nutritional requirements and adheres to special diets.
• Ensures food temperatures and proper safety standards during storage, production, and serving.
• Keeps kitchen clean and maintains equipment, walls, and storage areas.
• Ensures staff delivers quality service to maintain positive resident experiences during meals.
