The Barclay at Tuckahoe is hiring a Cook to join our senior living community. The role involves prepping, planning and cooking meals according to established menus, while upholding high standards of food quality and service.

You will work in a team-oriented kitchen that emphasizes safety, hygiene and hospitality. A caring, flexible candidate with at least a high school diploma and culinary training is preferred; 2 years of experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and be willing to serve others.
• Culinary degree or formal training preferred.
• At least 2 years of related culinary experience.
• Flexible to work various shifts including holidays and weekends.
• Good knife skills and familiarity with all cooking methods.
• Experience with therapeutic/modified diets preferred.
