Wildflower Lodge in LaGrande, Oregon is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for our elder residents, maintain a clean kitchen, and ensure compliance with health regulations.

You will work under the Dining Services Director, train new staff, and help create a warm, nourishing dining experience. Part-time or full-time scheduling may apply.

Qualifications

• Formal culinary training or equivalent experience as a cook.
• Willingness to learn and work within a team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsabilités

• Prep and prepare meals under the guidance of the Dining Services Director.
• Ensure meals are nutritious, appetizing, and attractively presented.
• Help orient new team members and schedule.
• Greet elders, families, visitors, and team members with a friendly demeanour.
• Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean, safe, and orderly.
• Follow infection control and foodborne illness prevention procedures.
