Job summary

Responsibilities

• Examines supplies to determine quantities sufficient for meals; requisition substitutions as needed.
• Gathers items and prepares food for cooking.
• Ensures food is held at proper temperatures in refrigeration, freezer, and prior to service.
• Dips food onto trays and portions meats.
• Prepares and cleans utensils and kitchen areas; maintains sanitation.
• Completes daily inventory sheet for food and supplies used.
