Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in the United States is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents, ensuring quality, safety, and presentation in a clean kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, accommodate dietary modifications, and record temperatures and production quantities to support a high standard of dining.

You will stock and rotate supplies, maintain sanitary areas, complete logs, and assist with dishwashing and dining service as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
