Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents in a caring, safe kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, maintain health and safety standards, and support dining services to create a welcoming dining experience.

You’ll record production quantities and temperatures, stock and rotate inventory, keep logs, and lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator. This role offers competitive pay and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
