Job summary

The Residence at Boylston Place is seeking a Cook to provide a restaurant-style dining experience for residents. This as-needed, part-time role offers a wage band of $24.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities include food preparation, following recipes and menus, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in all kitchen areas. Serve Safe Certification is required; prior healthcare or hospitality kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Serve Safe Certification required.
• Experience in hospitality or healthcare kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service in a restaurant-style dining setting.
• Supervise culinary staff with Culinary Director and Executive Director.
• Prepare and cook meals per established recipes and menus.
• Maintain clean, safe, sanitary kitchen and storage areas.
• Open and close the kitchen; follow cleaning schedules and logs.
• Assist with events, banquets, and theme meals.
