CountryHouse Elkhorn, part of Agemark Senior Living, is seeking a dependable Cook who enjoys preparing great meals and creating positive dining experiences for residents. This full-time on-site role offers a schedule without late nights typical of restaurants and opportunities to engage with residents daily.

Responsibilities include preparing meals, supporting special events, keeping the kitchen clean and safe, and collaborating with the dining team to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Cooking experience: At least one year of hands-on cooking or culinary experience.
• Positive attitude with team-oriented approach and passion for serving others.
• Strong communication: ability to communicate with residents and team members.
• Physical ability: lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Dependability: reliable, able to work scheduled shifts and keep dining services running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great meals according to menus, recipes, and residents’ dietary needs.
• Create positive mealtime experiences for residents.
• Support meals for celebrations, community events, and special gatherings.
• Keep kitchen safe and clean, following food safety standards.
