Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 1–2 years related work experience preferred.
• SERV Safe Certification or ability to obtain.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to work with elderly in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to safely handle food per procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Deliver high-quality services to ensure resident and guest satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and leadership.
• Prepare and present meals according to planned menus, accommodating dietary needs.
• Perform prep work for meals and events.
• Complete food inventory and manage deliveries.
• Keep refrigerators/freezers clean and properly temperature-controlled.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage and labeling.
