Vineyard Henderson Memory Care in Henderson, NV is seeking a friendly Cook Aide to support our dining team and deliver an extraordinary dining experience for residents. Responsibilities include assisting with meal prep, plating, sanitation, and event support.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, English proficiency, and prior food service experience; experience in a senior living community is a plus. Full time or part time roles available with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience in food service, dining, or kitchen support is preferred.
• Experience in a senior living community is a plus.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cook with preparation and service of quality meals for all residents, including those with special diet needs.
• Support daily kitchen operations, including basic food prep, portioning, plating, and ensuring meals meet presentation standards.
• Help maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and adherence to sanitation guidelines.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist with stocking, labeling, and rotating food items to ensure freshness and compliance.
• Provide support during special events for marketing, activities, and community celebrations.
• Follow proper food handling, safety, and infection control procedures.
• Ensure residents are provided with privacy, respect, and dignity at all times.
• Complete state-required training upon hire and annually.
