Job summary

Hurrdat in Omaha, NE is seeking a Content Editor for a 12-24 month 1099 contract to review website content, blogs, and marketing copy for an enterprise client in the senior living space, with on-site collaboration encouraged but not required.

You will ensure accuracy, brand voice, EEAT, and on-page SEO, provide feedback to writers, and work with the Sr. Content Editor to deliver timely content that meets client standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Advertising, or related field.
• Experience in content creation, copywriting, editing, or similar position.
• Excellent editing skills for spelling, grammar, word choice, organization.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Experience creating or editing content for senior living or healthcare industries preferred.
• Familiarity with SEO-driven keyword research preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Proofread, copy edit, and review content with SEO and client needs in mind.
• Review AI drafts for brand voice, EEAT best practices, and on-page SEO.
• Provide constructive feedback to writers on content projects.
• Collaborate with Sr. Content Editor to execute content marketing tasks.
• Ensure content adheres to client and agency standards.
• Deliverables are expected according to agreed-upon project timelines.
