Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a Construction Manager for our Design and Construction department in northeast Florida. You will oversee design reviews and manage senior living projects from feasibility to closeout, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet budget and schedule goals.

The role requires a four-year degree and at least ten years of experience in design/construction, with a focus on feasibility, ground-up builds, and renovations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a four-year degree program with at least 10 years of design/construction experience.
• Experience in feasibility and due diligence, ground-up and renovation projects.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and coordination with architects/engineers.
• Must be able to work day shift in northeast Florida office.

Responsibilities

• Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.
• Coordinates work of all parties working on project(s) assigned and maintains relationships with all parties for project success.
• Review and comment on preliminary plans and schematic designs for in-house reviews and analysis.
• Provide preliminary budget figures and value engineering as necessary to bring projects within established budget goals.
• Oversees performance of all contractors and project consultants and ensures compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Monitors safety violations and other deficiencies and reviews change orders with contractors and consultants.
