Job summary

WellQuest Living LLC in Fountain Valley, CA seeks an experienced leader to oversee residential elder care operations at Carmel Village. You will direct staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage safety, financial controls, and community engagement.

The role requires a strong management background, RCFE certification, and the ability to maintain high-quality resident care while achieving census goals. This is a full-time on-site position in California.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience providing residential care to the elderly.
• Must possess and maintain current California RCFE certification.
• Thorough knowledge of state licensing requirements and regulations.
• People-oriented with strong management and organizational skills.
• Able to maintain or supervise financial records.
• Flexible hours and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall management and control of the property, residents, and financial assets.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, laws, and regulations governing operation of the property.
• Monitor marketing and sales to project monthly census goals.
• Recruit, hire, evaluate, coordinate, motivate, monitor, schedule and supervise staff.
• Consult with department directors on departmental operations.
• Ensure pre-admission assessments and compliance with Title 22 requirements.
• Ensure safety, OSHA compliance, and incident prevention programs.
• Develop referral programs and liaise with the community on aging/dementia issues.
• Represent the property with outside agencies and government entities.
