Jaybird Senior Living in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a compassionate CMA to administer prescribed medications and support resident care in a safe setting.

You will document medications, monitor resident conditions, and communicate changes to healthcare staff. The role includes assisting with daily living activities and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for residents. Expect collaboration with the Healthcare Coordinator and a team-focused, patient-first culture.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in good standing required.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Document medications, monitor resident condition, and report changes to healthcare staff.
• Assist with vital signs, lab collections, and follow-up communications with families and providers.
• Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
• Partner with the Healthcare Coordinator (HCC) in staff training, documentation, and incident reporting.
• Respond promptly to resident and visitor needs with professionalism and compassion.
