Job summary

LCB Senior Living, LLC is hiring Chefs at The Residence at Otter Creek in Middlebury, VT. This full-time role offers a wage band of $22.00–$26.00 per hour based on experience, with benefits starting from Day One.

You will work closely with the Culinary Services Director and Executive Director to deliver restaurant-style dining, supervise culinary staff, assist with dining enhancement programs, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen.

Qualifications

• Ability to build positive relationships with residents, associates and coworkers.
• Focus on delivering excellent customer service while managing multiple tasks.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment in a clean, sanitary manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Work with Culinary Services Director and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with dining programs.
• Assist with supervision of culinary staff and with special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Maintain kitchen and storage areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
• Open and/or close the kitchen and adhere to cleaning schedules.
• Prepare and serve meals per recipes and menus; document temperatures.
• Carry out inventory and assist with food transport and storage.
