Job summary

The Gardens at Laguna Springs, a Koelsch Communities senior living community in Elk Grove, CA, seeks a Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and compassionate personal care in a safe, welcoming environment.

Part-time and full-time opportunities exist with shifts including mornings and evenings. Earn between $19 and $20 per hour, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening.
• Must be able to gain CPR/ First-Aid certification as needed.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance.
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary.
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times.
• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and report promptly to a licensed nurse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
