Job summary

Senior Housing Managers is seeking a Universal Caregiver in Bend, OR to support residents with daily living activities and care needs in our assisted living and residential care communities.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, dressing, meals, medication setup after training, updating records, and reporting changes to the supervisor. No experience required; training provided. Excellent teamwork and a compassionate, privacy-respecting approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months related experience with seniors.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge.
• Valid CPR, First Aid and Food Handlers cards (can be acquired during the hiring process).
• Pre-Service Universal Caregiver training is required but part of onboarding.
• Ongoing training provided to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living per service plan.
• Medication setup and administration after training.
• Update resident records in a timely manner.
• Report changes in resident condition to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
• Prepare and cook food as required; assist with meals.
• Assist with daily activities and document participation.
• Attend trainings and meetings; perform other duties as assigned.
