Job summary

Saratoga Retirement Community in Saratoga, CA is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide person-centered, direct care to residents in a 5-star skilled nursing facility. You will support daily living activities, promote resident wellbeing, and maintain a safe, respectful environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma, at least 1 year of caregiving experience, CPR and First Aid certification, and familiarity with electronic medical records. Pay rate ranges from $20 to $24 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a nursing home, senior living facility or in a caregiver role.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records and clinical software systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered, direct care to residents and promote wellbeing.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including showers and mealtime duties.
• Administer medications as assigned and maintain resident spaces.
• Document all completed tasks and ADLs promptly in the EMR.
