Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Madison is seeking compassionate Caregivers to support residents in our welcoming community. Join a team dedicated to dignity and independence for seniors while earning competitive pay and benefits.

Caregivers assist with daily living activities, manage medications as allowed, and document progress to ensure high-quality resident care. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 75 lbs as part of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.
