Job summary

Longleaf Liberty Park in Birmingham, AL is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our premier senior living community. You will follow individualized care plans, observe changes, document daily care, and report to the nursing supervisor.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting vital signs, providing mobility support, and transporting residents when needed. Candidates should have a High school diploma or GED and Nursing Assistant certificate;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Nursing Assistant Training Program certificate if required.
• CPR and First Aid certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized plan of care (ISP) for each resident and observe changes.
• Check and record vital signs, weights, and other duties per state regulations.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.).
• Provide restorative nursing techniques and ADL training.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and transportation as needed.
• Respond to urgent calls promptly.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
