Job summary

Merrill Gardens Huntington Beach is seeking a dedicated Senior Living Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and person-centered care. You will assist with dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care in a warm, home-like setting.

Responsibilities include medication management as allowed by state regulations and daily progress reporting for residents in Assisted Living & Garden House, with opportunities for growth within a stable, family-owned company offering

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

Our Caregivers:

If you are someone with:

Actual pay rate within stated pay range is determined based on relevant factors in compliance with state and local wage laws. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
