Job summary

Arvum Senior Living, LLC, part of the Discovery Senior Living family, provides care- and lifestyle-focused Assisted Living and Memory Care communities across the Midwest. The Care Giver role involves hands-on care and support to residents within a safe, home-like environment.

The position requires assisting residents with daily living activities, promoting independence and safety, and engaging them in life skills and enrichment activities. CNA preferred, HS diploma, and 18+ age are required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• Highest education is a High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers.
• Superior customer service skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Help residents maintain independence with dignity and safety.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating).
• Engage residents in life skills and life enrichment activities.
