Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a seasoned Business Office Director for Discovery Village St. Augustine to oversee the community’s financial operations and HR processes, ensuring accuracy and top-tier service.

You will lead the business office staff, manage billing, payroll, resident accounts, and compliance with policies while delivering exceptional service to residents, families, and teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or an Associate’s with relevant experience.
• Experience in business office management, payroll, or HR is encouraged.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in financial systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee business office operations: billing, collections, A/P, payroll, resident accounts.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and controls; produce reports.
• Collaborate with leaders to manage expenses and budgets; prepare management reports.
• Maintain files for residents, vendors, staff, and finances per policy.
