Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Business Office Director to lead the community's business office, including HR, payroll, billing, and operations. You will be the primary contact for residents, families, and staff on billing and HR questions.

The role requires 3–5 years in business office management or related fields, with strong accounting, compliance, and communication skills.Healthcare/senior living experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in business office management, finance, HR, or accounting.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Accurate, time-efficient, able to work independently.
• Experience in senior living or healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage accounts receivable and assist month-end closing.
• Manage residents' contracts, execution, and renewals.
• Coordinate new resident orientation and move-ins.
• Maintain resident and employee files per regulatory guidelines.
• Oversee new hire orientation and HR contact for the community.
• Process payroll for the community.
• Assist the Executive Director to ensure the community stays within budget.
• Direct front desk staff recruitment, training, supervision, and development.
