Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking an energetic Activity Director for Ivy Living communities. The role focuses on creating engaging activities, scheduling excursions, and promoting a vibrant social atmosphere for residents in a California senior living community.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a valid license, and 1+ year experience in activity planning and staff coordination. A flexible schedule and driving ability are required to support resident quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Class C license (Class B preferred) with Passenger Endorsement.
• Minimum 1 year experience planning activities and evaluating resident needs.
• Preferred 1 year supervising staff and volunteers.
• Flexibility to work holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and promote engaging activities and excursions for residents.
• Lead and participate in activities and encourage resident participation.
• Recruit, develop, and schedule Activity Assistants, Drivers, and volunteers.
• Maintain a safe environment following established safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members across departments to support resident well-being.
• Possess ability to drive community vehicles.
