Civitas Senior Living in Azle, TX seeks an energetic Activity Director to plan and run engaging programs for residents. You will lead a team, craft events, and ensure a welcoming community culture tailored to seniors.

The role emphasizes compassionate service, strong communication, and coordination of activities, newsletters, and family outreach, with a focus on budgeting and staff development.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain Company-sponsored Activity Director certification as required.
• Demonstrated compassion and enthusiasm for working with seniors.
• Strong written and oral communication across diverse audiences.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass background and motor vehicle checks.

Responsabilités

• Craft and execute a diverse schedule of meaningful activities and events that resonate with residents.
• Prepare and distribute monthly newsletters and calendars; arrange for community groups to visit.
• Educate, train, and inspire team members to foster meaningful connections and a strong community.
• Compile biographies on each new resident, ensuring a warm and customized welcome to the Community.
• Create ambiance by decorating common areas for special events and holidays.
• Maintain inventory and manage budget, aligning with the community’s goals and standards.
