Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting.
• Completion of an Activities Director training or a degree in recreational therapy.
• Successful completion of a state approved CNA training and competency evaluation program.
• Demonstrates CARE values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement engaging recreational programs to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Lead and mentor a team of Activity Assistants to provide age-appropriate activities.
• Collaborate with departments, professionals, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Balance daily schedules, activity prep, and resident needs.
