Creative Solutions in Healthcare's Texas facilities are seeking an Activity Assistant to bring energy and compassion to our residents. You will plan and lead engagement activities, build connections, ensure safety, and document progress while following state guidelines.

You’ll collaborate with teammates to create a vibrant, inclusive community and provide meaningful daily experiences for elderly and disabled residents.

Qualifications

• Holds a high school diploma (certification required by state regulations).
• Brings energy, creativity, and excellent communication skills to the team.
• Has a genuine passion for working with elderly and disabled individuals.
• Can meet the physical demands of the role and perform tasks safely.
• Adheres to the Patient Bill of Rights, Employee Responsibilities, and workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement activities: plan, organize, and facilitate group events and sessions.
• Build connections by encouraging participation and forming meaningful relationships.
• Ensure safety & comfort by assisting residents to and from activities and maintaining a safe environment.
• Document and assess activity participation, progress, and state/federal guideline compliance.
• Collaborate with the team to support residents and teammates wherever needed.
