Job summary

Allendale Senior Living is seeking an Activities Assistant to create engaging programs for residents and support daily life with compassion and care. This full-time role offers daily pay options and a wage range of $15.92 to $22 per hour.

You will plan, implement, and document activities, help with events, transport residents, and collaborate with the care team to promote resident well-being. A high school diploma is required, prior experience with seniors preferred, and a commitment to the

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in activities/healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment for resident activities.
• Document resident participation and engagement in programs.
• Promote residents' social, physical, emotional, and intellectual well‑being.
• Plan, develop, organize, and implement programs and events.
• Build relationships and encourage participation based on interests.
• Collaborate with care teams to support resident goals.
• Observe changes in mood/participation and communicate with staff.
• Assist with community outreach and marketing events.
• Complete administrative tasks and maintain program records.
• Set up and break down activities and events.
• Escort and transport residents to activities.
