Job summary

The Boulevard Post Acute is seeking an Activities Assistant to lead engaging programs that promote well-being for residents. Supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services, this role emphasizes compassionate care in a welcoming, home-like setting.

The position is part-time with a 9 AM–5 PM Sunday–Tuesday schedule, at our 81-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility. A high school diploma is required and prior senior-care experience is preferred.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment that enhances residents' quality of life.
• Document resident participation and engagement in activities.
• Promote residents' social, physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being.
• Plan, develop, organize, and implement recreational and community programs.
• Build relationships with residents and encourage participation based on interests.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care goals.
• Observe and communicate changes in moods or participation to the team.
• Assist with community outreach and marketing events.
• Complete administrative tasks, audits, and program records.
• Set up, decorate, and break down activities and events; assist transport as needed.
• Support compassionate service and a culture of excellence.
