• Assists in carrying out a program of activities which provides entertainment, intercommunication, exercise, and relaxation to residents.
• Assists residents with hobbies, arts and crafts, and group activities.
• Encourages participation in religious activities.

Responsibilities

• Assists in carrying out a program of activities which provides entertainment, intercommunication, exercise, and relaxation to all residents.
• Assists in carrying out a program of activities which provides residents with opportunities to express creative talent and fulfill basic psychological, social and spiritual needs.
• Assists residents with outside activities.
• Prints and distributes monthly activities calendar.
• Participates in Quality Improvement as assigned.
• Completes Activities Attendance Records.
• Committed to working with residents and families to develop and implement strategies that promote person-centered care.
