Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living at Salisbury, MD is seeking an energetic Activities Assistant to support residents with engaging programs and daily recreation. You will collaborate with the Director of Activities to tailor activities to individual interests and needs within the community.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least three years of experience in adult recreation. This part-time position offers generous PTO, paid holidays and floating holidays, health plans, retirement plan

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience working with adult recreation.

Responsibilities

• Works with Director of Activities to deliver creative and exciting resident activities meeting individual needs and interests within the community.
• Assist with orienting all residents to activity programs.
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions. Must be a proven professional with compassion, integrity, and honesty.
• Has the ability to work under pressure, resolve conflict, prioritize tasks, and follow through with creative ideas.
• Have a keen ability to foster teamwork with coworkers, showing initiative in overcoming obstacles, helping others beyond the job responsibilities, and having a positive impact on coworkers, residents, and visitors.
