Job summary

Siena Lakes by Erickson Senior Living seeks a Resident Program Coordinator to enhance resident well‑being through diverse activities. You’ll tailor therapeutic and recreational programs with the Programming team and lead group/individual activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience with geriatric population or related fields (education may substitute for experience).
• Minimum of 1 year as Activities Assistant in licensed health care facility or related experience through coursework/internships preferred.
• Experience leading groups with varying physical/cognitive independence preferred.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends/evenings required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate structured and impromptu programs for residents in common areas and rooms using independent judgment.
• Escort residents on group trips and excursions, ensuring safety.
• Collaborate with team members, management and volunteers to deliver engaging programs and activities.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ needs to Programming Manager.
• Manage program supplies and equipment, ensuring functionality and safety.
• Participate in team discussions on programming, schedules, and resident issues.
• Prepare and implement activity programs based on Manager’s guidance.
• Lead and set up both group and individual activities, motivating participants.
