Job summary

Maplewood Senior Living is seeking a Lifestyle Coordinator to develop, coordinate and implement therapeutic recreation programs for residents at the West Yarmouth location, ensuring activities are engaging, inclusive and compliant with regulations.

The role requires an associate degree or two years of college in recreation/gerontology, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules. Weekend and holiday shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of college in recreation, gerontology or related field.
• Two years of full-time experience in the recreation field with adults is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to residents, family members, and visitors.
• Plan, implement and monitor therapeutic recreation programs for residents.
• Lead activities appropriate for all levels and abilities.
• Coordinate transportation for outings and events outside the community.
