Job summary

Sherbrooke Village is seeking compassionate Activities Assistants to support our senior residents. You will plan and implement floor activities, prepare snacks with residents, and help with dining room setup while adhering to care plans.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, NCCAP credits, and potential certifications (OTA/NCCAP) with Missouri CNA licensure preferred. Weekend/evening shifts required, benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 NCCAP credits preferred.
• 500 hours experience in activity programming preferred.
• OTA or NCCAP certification preferred.
• CNA license for Missouri preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, pre-plan and implement floor activities based on center schedule.
• Use monthly calendars to plan special activities.
• Prepare snacks with residents.
• Set up dining room tables for activities.
• Clean up after activities.
• Complete required logs and charting.
• Keep activity areas clean and safe.
• Assist residents to and from common areas as stated by care plan.
• Assist other departments with residents as needed.
• Weekends, holidays and evenings required.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

6 college credits NCCAP

500 hours experience in activity programming

Certification as Occupational Therapy Assistant or NCCAP Certification

CNA License for Missouri
