Job summary

Spring Gardens Senior Living in Lehi, UT is seeking an ACTIVITY ASSISTANT to join our team on a part-time, day-shift schedule. The role focuses on maintaining a balanced, resident-centered activity program and supporting enrichment through community events.

Responsibilities include documenting resident changes, collaborating with the team to ensure quality standards, and engaging volunteers to enhance social activities while following community procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year job-related experience preferred in senior living communities.
• Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and fellow team members for involvement in social events and activities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills and ability to facilitate small group presentations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to work semi-independently by following procedures and guidelines and follow through on tasks.
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer use.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a balanced resident-centered activity program for the community.
• Review and document information in the Daily Log and Department Log regarding resident changes and activity details.
• Demonstrate proficiency in QA processes and quality service standards for activities and programming.
• Partner with the community team to follow federal/state/local laws and quality standards for resident care and services.
• Actively participate as a team member and contribute to achieving team goals.
