Terrace Glen Village is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team. The Activities Assistant will support the Activities Director with a resident activity program and advocate for elder-centered care, communicating with residents, families, physicians, and the broader community.

Responsibilities include participating in activities, maintaining logs, coordinating with councils, and assisting with volunteers. This role offers a part-time schedule in a boutique senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Advocates for resident-directed/elder-centered care on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activities Director with a program of activities for residents.
• Maintain activity logs and documentation for the department.
• Communicate resident-directed care concepts to team members and families.
• Plan activities as directed by supervisor.
• Collaborate with resident and family councils.
• Direct and supervise volunteers; assist with dietary tasks if requested.

We are seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team! The Activities Assistant is responsible for assisting the Activities Director with a program of activities at the community. The Activities Assistant has the ability to communicate effectively and advocate for Elder centered/directed care to team members, families, physicians, allied health professionals, and the at large community.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Living Activities Assistant participates in activities with residents of the community.
• The Senior Living Activities Assistant maintains department activity logs and documentation.
• The Senior Living Activities Assistant understands, practices, and communicates resident directed/centered care on a daily basis as it relates to the activities department.
• The Senior Living Activities Assistant plans activities as directed by the supervisor.
• The Senior Living Activities Assistant works with the resident and family councils.
• The Senior Living Activities Assistant has the ability to direct and supervise volunteers.
• The Senior Living Activities Assistant helps with Dietary if requested.
