Job summary

StoryPoint Grove City is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to help plan and deliver activities that support the social welfare of residents in a senior living community. The position is part-time, working Saturdays, Sundays and two additional weekdays from 10am-4pm (24 hours total).

The role requires 1–3 years related experience, flexible scheduling including weekends/holidays, compassion for seniors, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Compassionate toward the senior population.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.

Responsibilities

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with the overall direction, planning, communication, and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department.
• Support the Life Enrichment Director and Life Enrichment Lead with administrative tasks as needed.
• Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety.
• Support in proper setup, clean up, and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Support transportation by attending outings, coordinating relevant administrative tasks, and upholding safety practices.
• Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook.
