Job summary

Vista Real Post Acute is seeking an Activities Assistant to energize and enrich resident lives through daily recreational and social activities. You will encourage participation, help plan events, and provide meaningful one-on-one interaction, fostering connections with residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Friendly, energetic, and compassionate personality.

• Previous experience in skilled nursing, senior living, recreation, or activities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily recreational and social activities.
• Encouraging residents to participate in programs and events.
• Helping plan games, crafts, celebrations, group activities, and special events.
• Providing one-on-one activities and interaction for residents as appropriate.
• Assisting with activity setup, cleanup, and preparation.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Supporting the Activities Department in creating meaningful opportunities for resident engagement.
