Job summary

The Plaza Assisted Living in Mililani Town, Hawaii, is seeking an energetic Activities Assistant on a casual hire basis. Shifts include Sundays 8am–4pm and Tuesdays 1:30pm–6:30pm, with pay starting at $16.50 per hour. No experience is required.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in meeting the needs of senior residents, including memory impairments.
• Flexibility, patience, and creativity.
• Ability to organize, plan and work autonomously.
• Energetic and confident when leading activities for diverse groups.
• Good verbal and written command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement programs meeting residents' interests and well-being.
• Lead activities in group and one-on-one settings.
• Promote resident participation and community involvement through volunteer services.
