Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC's Prime Video Sports division is seeking a Senior Graphics Designer to lead live sports graphics for on-air and on-set productions. You will design, animate, and implement graphics packages, lower thirds, and transitions that enhance viewer experience.

Collaborating with producers and directors, you will translate creative briefs into compelling visuals, maintain brand consistency, and mentor junior designers while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines.
• 7+ years of professional design experience in broadcast, sports, or entertainment.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
• Portfolio demonstrating motion graphics and broadcast design work.
• Deep understanding of design principles including typography, composition, color theory, and animation timing.
• Experience designing for broadcast specifications and technical requirements.
• Experience leveraging generative AI tools to ideate, prototype, or produce visual assets for live broadcast or entertainment content.

Responsibilities

• Designing original graphics packages for live sports events and studio programming, including lower thirds, bumpers, transitions, and full-screen graphics.
• Creating motion graphics and animations that enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
• Developing style guides and design systems that ensure visual consistency across platforms.
• Collaborating with producers and directors to translate creative briefs into compelling visual solutions.
• Presenting design concepts and iterating based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintaining brand consistency while innovating within Prime Video's visual identity.
• Mentoring designers and providing constructive feedback on their work.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight production deadlines.
• Staying current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in broadcast design.
