Qualifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar and four years of relevant full‑time legal experience after admission, including eighteen months in supervision.
• Incumbents must remain Members of the New York State Bar in good standing.
• Six-plus years of litigation experience with emphasis on employment or class action litigation preferred.
• Experience supervising attorneys and collaborating with software engineers or data analytics professionals.
• Commitment to social justice and serving low‑wage workers.
• Ability to work with multi‑functional teams comprising attorney and non-attorney staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise worker protection litigation under OLPS laws.
• Lead litigation and strategy for OLPS in parallel with the department's objectives.
• Supervise four staff attorneys handling litigation.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders and other city agencies as needed.
