Senior Litigation Training and Practice Attorney

This role offers a rare opportunity for an experienced litigation attorney to blend substantive litigation responsibilities with meaningful involvement in a premier litigation training program, while maintaining a balanced workload outside the traditional partner track.
Base pay range: $200,000 – $275,000 per year.

Litigation Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
- Handle discovery tasks, including e‑discovery.
- Assist with case and project management.
- Support deposition and trial preparation.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Training Program Responsibilities
Candidates should be enthusiastic about contributing to and expanding a premier litigation training program. Key responsibilities include:
- Create and refine training program materials, such as slide decks, visual presentations, and workshop content.
- Implement and manage training initiatives, including weekly “office hours” and writing‑focused development programs.
- Collaborate with the Litigation Training Council and other internal stakeholders to coordinate initiatives across practice groups and business units.
- Maintain detailed documentation, timelines, and tracking systems to ensure timely and professional program delivery.
Split Responsibilities
- Non‑billable contributions to the firm’s litigation training program, working closely with a senior New York–based partner.
- Billable litigation work supporting teams on a range of general litigation matters for firm clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of civil litigation experience (complex civil litigation preferred; criminal or other non‑civil matters welcomed).
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent writing ability; writing sample required.
- Highly motivated, collaborative, and detail‑oriented.
- Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage both strategic initiatives and hands‑on execution.
